Small Is Beautiful

Vancouver Wedding | Terminal City Club

When decorating for small weddings many people mistakenly believe it means sacrificing beauty and everything meaningful. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Intimate weddings are a rich opportunity for a highly personalized, exclusively styled affair. By focusing on the finer details virtually every element can be custom fit to reflect the couple and their personalities.

In fact, intimately detailed weddings are what we enjoy creating the most. We believe beauty exists in all the finer details, and nowhere is that better on display than at the reception. With a couple’s vision as a guide, we love to weave colour, texture, space and nature into exquisite tablescapes that are unique to the couple and deeply memorable.

Large or small, your wedding can be everything you’ve dreamed of. If you’re not sure what that looks like, don’t worry. We love to help you select the perfect theme and take care of all the personal touches, down to the tiniest details.

We are sharing some photos of Olga & Chris’s wedding at Terminal City Club as an example. It was intimate, with immediate family only, but very beautiful and full of love!

Secret Garden Wedding Inspiration

We teamed up with Peonies Fine Flowers to create a natural and timeless atmosphere by transforming a simple room into a romantic secret garden, filled with fresh flowers and soft candlelight. Classic white walls with minimalist details provided the perfect contrast for lush floral centerpieces, brimming with blush and cream pastels, with hints of yellow and peach. We chose a clean and sophisticated table setting that merged traditional with contemporary elements, pairing neutral plates and napkins with warmly accented gold flatware and plum coloured glass goblets. Cool slate-grey fabric tied the whole design together and the single ranunculus adorning each plate welcomed each guest to a romantic dinner. We loved creating this secret garden infused with natural beauty and hope you are inspired by it too.
